Next Generation Mini-Converter Rackmount Frame
The DRM2 is our next generation rackmount frame for securing and powering AJA Mini-Converters (sold separately). The DRM2 is a 3RU high rack frame that can accommodate up to 12 of the AJA Mini-Converters with its 200W 100-240V, 50/60Hz power supply. The DRM2-AP includes the actively cooled faceplate that features four cooling fans for high temperature environments. The DRM2 can be expanded to hold up to 24 FiDO Mini-Converters (sold separately) with optional Y-cables and carriers. The DRM2 is the best way to manage a multitude of Mini-Converters in a compact and powerful device.

Because the DRM2 can deliver 200 watts of power, the smaller form factor of the single and dual channel FiDO’s, with their low power consumption, makes it possible to support up to 24 smaller-sized FiDOs in the DRM2. This configuration requires the purchase of the optional AJA DRM2 Y-Cable, DRM2-YC.

One Y-Cable is required per FiDO pair, sold separately to achieve this density of mounted converters.
