AJA’s OG-ROI-SDI is an openGear card that allows exceptionally high-quality scan conversion of SDI inputs to 3G-SDI and HDMI baseband video outputs. With incredible Region of Interest image scaling as well as aspect ratio and frame rate conversion, OG-ROI-SDI fulfills the growing need to properly incorporate extractions from 3G-SDI sources into 3G-SDI and HDMI feeds without sacrificing budget or space.
Eliminate extra interface clutter and menu bars and extract only the portion of the image you want.
OG-ROI-SDI is fully compatible with the free Ross DashBoard application, offering interactive selection of a Region of Interest from the incoming computer signal. You have full control over how that region is scaled to the output resolution using AJA’s high quality scaling algorithms for the cleanest picture quality possible.
Take full control of aspect ratio, image rotation and frame rate conversion with on-screen controls in the DashBoard software that shows you what your source and output will look like, including the formats that are coming in and the choices you have made for the signal going out.
You're able to easily create highly effective and engaging displays by using additional OG-ROI-SDI openGear converters. By utilizing three OG-ROI-SDI openGear converters in the appropriate rackframe you can feed three display monitors side by side, each rotated to portrait mode. By using the SDI pass through of the OG-ROI-SDI, the SDI routed image is in sync, with each OG-ROI-SDI providing the necessary Region of Interest output via SDI. Settings for each of the OG-ROI-SDI openGear converters is provided via ethernet control through an ethernet switch. The result is a visually exciting and creative way to feed display content.
OG-ROI-SDI accepts 2-channel analog audio from the 2x 3-pin terminal blocks connectors or embedded 8-channel audio from an SDI input. The audio source and routing can be selected in the DashBoard software and is embedded into the SDI output. This allows computer audio to be embedded within the SDI signal for easy, synchronized routing.
The openGear standard ensures that AJA cards will be compatible with other openGear products from certified openGear partners. With a growing list of products, openGear is the standard for professional rackframe solutions.
The modular rear panel allows custom I/O connections per card (included with individual cards).
The optional redundant power supply provides a secondary power source in the event of a primary power failure.
A standard Ethernet connection allows the frame to be accessed via the Ross DashBoard software application for overall frame communication. Optional per-card Ethernet access can be installed in the frame for advanced communication with compatible openGear cards.
Ross DashBoard software offers quick and convenient configuration of openGear cards on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
