AJA provides a robust video I/O SDK with direct control over key functions such as capture, playback, signal handling, and format management, maintained across Windows, Linux, and macOS with documentation, integration libraries, and example code provided for both an unsupported open-source path and a fully supported Developer Program path.

Broad Platform Support

AJA developer hardware and SDKs support Windows, Linux, and macOS, with compatibility for V4L2, and GStreamer. NVIDIA GPUDirect is also supported on Clara AGX and Holoscan platforms for low-latency GPU integration.

Developer Support and Open Resources

AJA offers two ways to work with the SDK. The Developer Program is a no-charge enrollment option that gives you full access to the NTV2 SDK, documentation, and developer technical support. If you prefer to work independently, the open-source path provides core SDK components under an open license with no forms, no registration, and no support.
