Io X3 looks similar to my trusty Io XT, so what’s the difference?

-Io X3 retains the case of the Io XT due to its whisper quiet operation and portability, but on the inside, it's a whole new product.

-Io X3 has 4x bidirectional 3G-SDI spigots to support multichannel workflows. Io XT had 2x dedicated SDI inputs and 2x dedicated SDI Outputs.

-Io X3 has HDMI 1.4b I/O compared to HDMI 1.3 I/O with Io XT. 

-Io X3 supports HDR and SDR over SDI and HDMI. Io XT only supported SDR.

-Io X3 provides 8 channels of Analog Audio IO (configurable). Io XT provided 8 channels of Analog Output/Monitoring only.

-Io X3 is a Thunderbolt 3 device. Io XT was a Thunderbolt 1 device.

-Io X3 has a MultiView feature allowing the user to preview up to 4 incoming sources, or 4 output signals on the HDMI output.

-Io X3 does not support Analog Video Output, whereas Io XT did.

-Io X3 has dedicated LTC In and Out, while this was a shared spigot on the Io XT.
