AJA Video Announces New Sales Organization and Team

Industry Veterans Fill Key Sales and Product Marketing Roles; Dedicated AJA Sales Partners Secured in Europe and Asia .  

AJA Video Systems, a leading manufacturer of professional video interface and conversion solutions, announced new hires and organizational changes to their sales and marketing groups that reflect the company’s exponential growth worldwide in the professional broadcast and post production markets.

AJA’s new hires include: Bryce Button, Product Marketing Manager; Jay Ignaszewski, Sales Territory Manager, Northeast; John Ladle, Sales Territory Manager, Midwest; Jeff Way, Sales Territory Manager, Western US & Canada; and Dan Wingard, Sales Territory Manager, Southeast. Additionally, the company has retained dedicated sales representative agencies for AJA products in Asia and Europe. Eric Hamilton of Pacific Portals will be overseeing Asian resellers and distributors, and Matthew Causon of Phosphor will be overseeing European resellers and distributors.

This newly assembled team brings extensive experience in both production and sales roles with vendors that include Avid, Quantel, Apple and more. Jay Ignaszewski joins AJA as Sales Territory Manager, East Coast and has worked in every production capacity from camera to editorial, and has also held previous posts with Asia Media Products, Media 100, SynaPix and Mass. Illusions, to name a few. Sales Territory Manager, Midwest, John Ladle has worked in the professional video channel since 1996 as owner of HD-Sales and as a territorial representative for Apple, Autodesk and Canon USA.  Jeff Way, Sales Territory Manager, Western US & Canada has over 20 years of industry experience with companies that include Avid, EDnet, Quantel and iBeam.  Southeast Sales Territory Manager, Dan Wingard joins AJA from Planar where he was a Sales Manager, and prior to that was with Quantel where he served as Regional Vice President; he also worked as Southeast Regional Manager for Avid Technology. 

New AJA Product Marketing Manager Bryce Button has been working in post-production since the mid-1980s and joins AJA from Autodesk where he most recently served as an Application Specialist for Autodesk Flame. He also has extensive experience as an editor and post-production supervisor, is the author of two professional editing books and an industry lecturer and educator. As part of this newly created position, Bryce will shape product marketing messaging and initiatives for AJA’s entire product line.
