This KONA 3/3X 5.0 release updates KONA for PC software (formerly XENA branded). Support has been added in this release for Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop CS5 (AJA plug-ins are now all 64 bit). Also added were support for Premiere Pro CS5's Mercury Playback Engine, CineForm stereoscopic playback, and Real-Time Apple ProRes playback support for AJA Premiere Pro sequences. Please read the included release notes for additional information. A new KONA for PC manual, version 5.0, has also been released covering the CS5 support and other changes.

AJA KONA System Test Version 1

A Windows utility for measuring system performance with AJA KONA Video Capture cards. The application includes disk drive speed tests and video data copy (DMA) speeds. The disk speed tests differ from standard disk I/O performance applications in that they specifically test the system under conditions typically encountered with video capture, playback and editing. Note: most of the disk performance tests are generic and don't require an AJA KONA Video Capture card. The DMA performance tests do require a KONA card and AJA KONA Driver software to operate.

AJA Data Rate Calculator Application Version 1.0.0.3 for Windows

This application calculates data rates and storage requirements for a given video size, format, and frame rate. It's great for KONA users as a resource for configuring systems and determining storage requirements.

AJA DirectShow Filters for Developers

These filters are designed for DirectShow application developers, so that they may make their applications compatible with the majority of AJA’s windows based hardware.
